What windshield replacement actually costs in Calgary and why the number moves, plus rock chip repair pricing from $50.
Rock chip and crack repair
Inside Calgary there is no call-out fee on top of these prices. Past 15 cm a crack is not worth repairing and we quote a replacement instead.

Windshield replacement
We do not publish a "from" price, and here is why.
Every shop advertising windshields from $149 is quoting the cheapest aftermarket glass available for the most common car on the road. If your car is not that car, the number on the ad has nothing to do with your invoice. You find that out on the phone, after you have already called.
The price of a replacement is two things: the glass, and the labour. The labour barely moves. The glass moves enormously.
The same model year of the same car can take four different windshields depending on what is built into the glass:
- A heated wiper park strip
- A rain and light sensor bracket
- Acoustic lamination for noise
- A mount and calibration target for a forward-facing camera
- A heads-up display coating, which is the most expensive of the lot
A base trim without any of that might be a third of the price of the top trim of the same car.
So how do you get a price
Text the year, make, model and trim to (587) 330-3818 with a photo of the damage.
We look up the actual glass your car takes and send you that number. It is the number on the invoice.
Where a good aftermarket option exists alongside the OEM part, we send both prices and explain the difference. Where the only safe option is the expensive one, we say that too.
What the price includes
Glass, urethane, new mouldings and clips where needed, the install, disposal of the old glass, and the one-year workmanship warranty. There is no separate mobile fee inside Calgary.
Outside Calgary
Airdrie, Okotoks, Cochrane and Chestermere carry a travel charge. It depends on the town, where in it you are and what time of day we can get there, so we quote it with the glass price, before you book. It is never a line that appears on the invoice at the end.

What Quality Actually Looks Like
We are not the cheapest quote you will get, and that is by design. Cheap means glass we would not put in our own cars, a skipped primer step that lets rust start under the moulding, or a rushed job that leaves a mark on your dash or your paint.
Fitting the glass is the easy part. The job is doing it without a scratch on your car or your interior, covering the seats and dash before anything is cut, and treating your driveway like it is the one we get judged on. Because it is.
